Halloween...

It was a fun, but tiring night. Both boys refused to wear their costumes, but I was able to sneak Caden's on him while he was distracted looking at the giant slide in the middle of the auditorium at the Halloween Extravaganza. Colby wore a skeleton shirt and called it good.

Pumpkin Patch!

So, while I was at the beach two weekends ago Ryan went for the father of year award. Bear in mind I was only gone for 48 hours...in this time he hosted Colby's first sleepover, took Colby and Caden to swimming lessons, took the boys for a visit with Gigi and spent a long afternoon at the pumpkin patch. Lucky for me, Cameron and Dawn went along to the pumpkin patch and Dawn had her camera. She takes THE BEST pictures, don't you think?

Curious Caden

So once again it was quiet for a little too long. I went to the kitchen and found my little monkey on the kitchen counter eating raw pasta he found on the top shelf of the cupboard! I am absolutely amazed we haven't had to take him to the emergency room yet with the amount of climbing he does. My final conclusion is that he is Curious George in toddler form.

4th of July

I am behind - very, very behind. And the guilt is starting to get to me...so this is the first installment of my attempt to catch up.

Tonight we are starting with the 4th of July. It rocked; there was candy and fireworks. When you are a little boy you really don't need anything else to achieve bliss.

Playground Fun

Colby has taught Caden well - he can do a slide as well as any 6 year old!

The Cupcake Thief

So it was a little too quiet the other day. When I got up to investigate I found Caden - covered in frosting! He had pulled a chair from the kitchen table to the counter, opened a tupperware container and eaten the frosting off of SIX cupcakes - yummy!

I decided taking pictures would be much more productive than getting upset. :)

Field Trip to the Zoo

I got to go along on Colby's field trip to the zoo. By some sort of miracle, it did not rain while we were there despite the fact that the forecast called for up to half an inch that day. We had a great time!

Tee-Ball Rocks

I totally think Colby is headed for a career as a major league baseball player. I mean, look at that stance! Seriously, he is getting really good; he now hits better off a live pitcher than he does off the tee.

Trampoline Fun

Colby has been teaching Caden well!

Easter!!!

Easter was yummy & sticky event at our house as you can see on Caden's face! The egg hunt was so fun, but REALLY wet. Colby couldn't be stopped to get a good picture, but Caders was happy to pose. All in all it was a good day.

I think he's ready for the X games...

Bet you didn't know that 17-month-olds could skateboard. Well mine can...in fact he does it so well that he taught his older brother later! :)

Yeah For Snow!

We were so excited to wake up to snow! Colby got to play for about an hour before heading off to school. Sadly, Caden has an icky cold so he had to watch all the fun from inside. :(
