Happy 6th Birthday Colby!!!

First we went to Red Robin for Colby's all time favorite cheese pizza and a rousing round of Happy Birthday...
Then we went to Zoo Lights; beautiful, but COLD! Colby kept running ahead and yelling, "Fun Birthday! This is a fun birthday!"
Colby let Caden lick the frosting off the mixer paddle. What a nice brother!
And finally he got to open presents. What a great birthday. :)

Merry Christmas!

It's 10:03 am and we have two happy kiddos! Santa brought exactly what they wanted. And Colby noticed somthing awesome about Santa, when he brings the toys you don't even have to put them together! Isn't that cool, Ryan? ;).

Halloween in December

So, after Colby wore his Halloween costume for the parade at school he refused to wear it on Halloween night so I never got a picture of him in it. Luckily another mom got one of him at school. He is the one on the left - you may recognize those piercing blue eyes through the mask.

Little Elves

So I knew Colby could decorate a tree like nobodies business, what I didn't know was that Caden could undecorate a tree like such a pro. These two boys are quite a team. :)

Budding Artists

Colby taught Caden to draw/scribble a couple of nights ago and Caden was soooo into it. He loves getting to hang out with his big brother and do "big boy" things!

The Zoo (in November!)

We went to the zoo last Sunday (11/3) and the weather was amazing! We didn't even need to wear coats. Colby's two favorite things were the train outside the forestry center and the bats.

Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Nemo and the Skeleton! Both boys had an awesome Halloween and got obscene amounts of candy.

Cake!

Yummy! Cake! Caden got his own cake for his birthday and he liked it!

Caden had a fun time at his party and especially liked all the toy trucks he got. He drives them around making car noises all day.

Happy Birthday Caden!!!!!

This year has gone by sooooo fast. I cannot believe Caders is already one. He has grown so much! Stay tuned for messy cake pictures; the party is Sunday.

And the new word is...cool! Of all things for a 1-year-old to say, Caden picked "cool!" He crawls around picking things up, exclaiming them cool, and then moving up to the next item. Pretty hilarious stuff. I'm going to try and catch it on video soon.

Now if I could just get him to say mama...

I thought this might be a fun way to keep everyone up to date on pictures of the boys. Let me know what you think.
